Vector Art for Title 24
The Rural Design Collective will be improving the public domain and the accessibility of a vital document set by creating SVG renditions of the illustrations used in the California Building Codes. There are several hundred images in the collection and many are of sub-standard quality. We have structured the diagrams into four levels of difficulty and will hone our skills in our favorite vector art programs as we improve the art. Proper techniques and efficient production habits will be stressed throughout this track and tutorials will be released post-program based on our workflow so others can benefit from what we learn in the program.
