Artist's Statement
"What makes photographing birds so special to me is the opportunity to share with others the beautiful variety of birds that are often heard, but seldom seen. When you stop to look and listen there is truly magic in the air. Hearing someone ask "Do we really have birds like that around here?" is one of the main reasons I love to share my work with others.
The most influential person in my life and the one who got me interested in birds is my daughter. Her knowledge of avian life is invaluable to me and to be able to share our love of birds is beyond words.
I use Canon cameras and lenses and process from RAW images using Lightroom and Photoshop."
