Point.B Studio is proud to continue the tradition of Rare Bird Arts by offering the Lois Miller 2026 Memorial Calendar which features photographs from her extensive archive. The calendar is lovingly arranged and published by the artist's daughter, Lisa Sheffield Guy.
We're upcycling calendars from previous years into a new series of note cards known as "Rare Bird Notes." Currently we have singles available from the 2024 "Port Orford" Series and bird species from 2023, 2022, 2020, 2018 plus the 2019 Wildlife Collection. Click on the card(s) you would like to order. It's a great way to collect and share every Lois Miller photo you ever loved. Proceeds will be donated into The Lois Miller Scholarship Fund. ↓
Sixes sets are now available. Identify any specific species requests in the box provided below (separated by commas) and we will see if it is available in our calendar page archive. If not, perhaps we can include it in the calendar next year for possible upcycling into a Rare Bird Note! Also, if you would like any of your selections sent to you as a page (as in not upcycled into a folded card) please indicate that in the box below as well.
Look for fun new educational offerings at the Cape Blanco Greeting Center Gift Shop in 2026 including "Bird.Key" to aid in identification of birds that have appeared in Lois's calendars, plus other cool Point.B Studio powered projects that include Lois's nature photography like the "Diversity of Cape Blanco" project at iNaturalist. Stay tuned!
The Lois Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by The Port Orford Rotary in 2016 in loving memory of the artist. The gift is awarded to the student that best embodies the values and creative excellence that Lois Miller stood for.
The Lois Miller Memorial Calendar was created per Lois's wish to celebrate and share her artwork with the community and the world.
Proceeds from the 2026 calendar will be donated to The Lois Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Additional direct donations can be made to the Port Orford Rotary to support the scholarship fund. These donations can be mailed to:
