In 2023, the docents out at Cape Blanco engaged in a fun weather watching project that morphed into a photography collection for the CBHS Archives. Our crew was outfitted with anemometers (hand-held devices that measure wind speed) and readings were captured along with photos of current weather conditions each day. The remote dialogue between the team is at times heartwarming and amusing, and routine adventures were documented such as the deteriorating lighthouse gate road. The situation unfortunately became tense during September with the nearby Anvil Fire. These are the photos taken during our little experiment.
