"Ever since I visited Cape Blanco, I have been unable to get it out of my mind ... If I was as rich as (insert name here), perhaps I would sink a chunk of my wealth into your organization, or whichever organization is currently responsible for keeping this place open. Of all the lovely things we saw and did on our vacation, it keeps rising to the top. Since I am not a resident of Oregon, and I believe I am understanding that this is a state park, I don’t know of anything I could do to champion a cause for redeeming the Cape Blanco area. However, if there is anything I can do “from a distance” to speak a word, or some positive and meaningful action on its behalf, I would be glad to. Being the westernmost tip, and with a greater than 180 degree view of the Pacific Coast, it is by nature a very distinctly beautiful place."
