As part of the Cobwebs Premiere, the crew had a special interactive workshop area where they invited guests to design their own Cobwebs Cards featuring characters from the animated series and to program interactive games. The cards that were designed during the show were given to gallery patrons and hidden around town the next day. If you are in the area, you might be lucky enough to find one!

More footage from the Cobwebs screening at {~beaux libre*}! The kids rehearsed by giving a VIP presentation to representatives of the local media and select Friends of the Rural Design Collective. It was very well-received and the presentation continued throughout the Port Orford Art Walk. The kids excitedly prepare for their audience in this behind-the-scenes video:

At the screening, the Cobwebs Crew gave a demonstration of their tools and workflow, and presented the audience with an exclusive viewing of Cobwebs – The Introduction, Cobwebs – Bloopers (below), and the original Cobwebs – Trailer.

It has been more than a little busy at #rdcHQ – our annual art show is in full swing and we have officially entered our post-production phase on our Summer tracks. The big news is that the Cobwebs Premiere at {~beaux libre*} was a resounding success … so without further ado, we present the World Wide Web screening of Cobwebs – The Introduction:

The kids poured their heart and soul into this production, and we have more surprises from opening night to share.

We’re getting ready for {*beaux libre~} and the Rural Design Collective Launch Party which will take place at Point.B Studio on September 1. The projects that have been brewing at #rdcHQ will be demonstrated (and are being prepared for release into the public domain) and a special introductory screening of Cobwebs: The Animated Series will take place ~ Cool! Everyone is very excited and preparing for the event this Saturday!

Our annual celebration of work and creativity will include new works by highly esteemed artists and fresh artistic collaborations will be announced.
